What we collect, and what we do with it

What we collect

We only collect what you type and send. There is no sign up on this site and nothing is gathered in the background.

• Contact form. Your name, email address, organisation if you give one, and what you write in the message box.
• Booking a call. Booking runs through Cal.com. They collect your name, email address, time zone, and anything you write when you book.
• Email. If you write to us, we have your email and whatever is in it.
• Server records. Our host keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build a picture of who you are.

Why we collect it

To answer you, to prepare for a call you booked, and to keep a record of who asked us for what so nothing gets dropped. That is the whole list. We do not use any of it to target advertising.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are handled by Netlify and reach us by email through Google. Bookings sit with Cal.com.

Netlify, Google, and Cal.com are based in the United States, so information you send through a form or a booking is stored there and is subject to the laws of that country.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information, and we never will.
• We do not share it with anyone beyond the services named above.
• We do not send marketing email to people who only asked a question.
• This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is kept as long as the working relationship lasts, and for seven years after that where it relates to paid work, because business records have to be retained.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, PIPEDA, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw consent at any time, though that may mean we can no longer help you with whatever you asked about.

Write to alignmentandintegration@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. There is no form to fill in and no fee. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If the change affects information we already hold, we will contact the people it affects rather than quietly updating the page.
