Person

Co-constructing meaning, and finishing the job.

I'm able to translate and integrate. That's my real skill: I'm able to think in all different levels and talk in all different ways. I'm able to sit with the minister of mental health and addictions and then also sit with the frontline case manager, and connect with both.

More about me

How I work

I am great at co-constructing meaning, letting you be the expert. My intention is making the job complete while also ensuring it's done in a good way for all stakeholders involved. Through meaning, alignment, and integration, all parties involved can win together.

I bring complexity to simplicity and chaos to order, and I can provide different perspectives. I stop the disconnection and bring in alignment and integration across anything. With AI, I now can integrate software too.

If there's things that I'm doing repetitively, those can be automatic, with my final review on them.

Where the perspective comes from

Born in Saudi Arabia, moving to Canada in my elementary years and really experiencing Canada for those foundational years, then moving back to Saudi Arabia during a more restrictive way of life. My own family on my dad's side are not wealthy; they're farmers in Egypt, in a poor economy.

I have lived alone in multiple different environments, been impoverished, and straddled cultures.

I do a lot of effective work through my walking and conversation.

Program · Kenora Chiefs Advisory, 2022 to 2026

A six-bed live-in youth treatment program, designed from the ground

Program development: data collection, service delivery, funding, all of it.

Read the case

What I did

  • Clinical management of a six-bed live-in youth treatment program on a DBT-informed model, and supervision of front-line child and youth workers.
  • As Director of Treatment and Healing, clinical direction, staffing, and licensing compliance under the ministry, then support for treatment and healing programs across the agency.
  • In 2026, the program revamp and relicensing.

How I think about it

Each client is basically given their own biopsychosocial-spiritual map and intervention. They're placed at the centre, and whatever their goals are or their problems are are placed at the centre.

Agency · Kenora Chiefs Advisory, 2025 to 2026

One record system, 24 programs, reporting that runs from the work

No standard data collection across the agency. Every funder report was a day's work, or multiple days. When a person leaves, a whole system may collapse. No integration or communication across programs without it being manual.

Read the case

What I did

I took all of that to setting up an electronic medical record for the programs, aligned with data reporting, and created a staff portal for data accuracy and training.

The configuration of the record itself fits with every program's needs. Programs that have specific reporting, it's now being captured and can be easily identified in a report that's generated with two clicks, rather than filtering through Excel sheets and building databases on the side.

Role and scope

  • Led the implementation across 24 behavioural health and social wellness programs, replacing the previous client record system.
  • Reporting configuration and data definitions: mine.
  • Staff portal: software I built myself, in use behind the organization's sign-in since August 2026.

Region · Kenora Chiefs Advisory and partners, 2025 to 2026

A staff portal shared by five agencies

Read the case

What I did

  • Program management for the HART Hub in Kenora: partner integration, KPI reporting, and the staff portal.
  • Built the portal software myself. It works offline on a phone and holds the referral pathway, the forms, and a decision tool for staff on the floor.
  • Rebuilt five clinical forms into one consistent set: consent, holistic needs assessment, first contact, triage connection, brief screening.

Role and scope

  • Project Manager. One colleague and I maintain the software.
  • Live on the organization's domain since September 2026, behind sign-in, so it is not linked here.
Interdisciplinary does not mean integration. Systems need to talk together across disciplines, but they need to align and integrate. You need to understand systems. You need to be able to understand AI, and you need to orchestrate both together. I want everything to be in plain language. Plain language for the people inputting, but not plain language for the systems map. I have better ideas and visualize better through conversation than sitting at a desk typing. The whole is much more impactful than the sum of its parts.

Get parties who disagree to move

I ask what each party needs to move forward. Through open discussion where the emotional energy is managed, we get to a solution that gives all parties their demands, while eliminating the real concern, workload, through automation.

I'm open to it all. Any opportunity that may arise.
