What we do
I turn objective reality into ones and zeros and solve problems with software.
Software built specifically for you used to cost millions. That is the only reason organizations settle for tools that were never built for them. It does not cost millions anymore, without the millions bespoke usually costs.
-
step one
Consultation
It starts with a conversation about how the work actually runs. Who touches what, where it stalls, and which spreadsheet is quietly holding the whole thing together. The initial consultation is free.
-
step two
Build
Then software shaped like that, built on top of what you already have. Your existing systems stay where they are. Nothing gets ripped out to make room.
-
step three
Keep it working
Software is not furniture. Operations change, funders change their reporting, staff turn over. Someone who knows how it was built has to be there when that happens.
Who this is for
Organizations running on tools that were never built for them. Health and social services is the natural first audience, because that is the work I know from the inside, but the pattern is not specific to it. Any operation that has been bent to fit its software qualifies.

Demos
Six markets, one engine underneath. Five are client-build patterns and two are packaged products. Tiles marked in development do not open yet, and they say so rather than pretending.
-
restaurant, salon
Small business operations board
Covers, shifts, stock, bookings, no-shows. The handful of numbers a small operation actually runs on, in one place, readable on a phone behind the counter.

-
retail, distribution
Enterprise operations
Multi-site operations intelligence. What is happening across every location, described in terms the head office and the floor both recognise.

-
health and social services
Community safety and well-being
Coordinated services and referral pathways. Where a person sits in the system, who is accountable for the next step, and what happens in the space between agencies.

-
consumer, packaged product
Student portal
Coursework, deadlines, and reading in one place. Built around how a student actually studies rather than how an institution files things.

-
consumer, packaged product
Pocket portal
The same idea sized for a pocket. For the parts of a day that happen away from a desk, where most of the useful detail gets lost.

Third Cortex harness
Every build above sits on this. Client builds are instances of it, which is why a bespoke system does not start from nothing each time.

03
How it works
The Third Cortex harness is the engine under the builds. Three ideas cover it.
-
one
It captures what happens as it happens
The work leaves a record while it is being done, not in a report written afterward from memory. Nobody has to remember Tuesday on Friday afternoon.
-
two
It works out overnight what is worth keeping
Between one day and the next, the noise gets separated from the parts that matter. What you read in the morning is short, because most of what happened did not need to be kept.
-
three
A person governs what becomes canon
Nothing is filed as true on its own. Someone with authority over the work confirms it, and that confirmation is the record. That is the whole governance model, and it is deliberately boring.
04
What is built
The honest state of it, today.
- An application is deployed with a real backend behind it, in the health and social services sector. It is built and demonstrable. It is not in service, and I would rather tell you that than imply otherwise.
- The Third Cortex harness underneath it is the same engine described above. Client builds are instances on it, not one-offs assembled from scratch.
- Two packaged products, the student portal and the pocket portal, sit outside that pattern. They are products, not client builds.
- Everything else on this page is in development, and the tiles say so.
